4th of July

We went up to Pyramid Lake with some of my family to celebrate the 4th of July.  Jaden loved it.  It took Micah a little bit to get him changed into his swimsuit with sunscreen, and then we had to get him to come back from the water to get some little water wings on.  He just went straight in the water.  He also had fun in the mud/sand.
Brennan took a little more coaxing.  I tried to let him go out on a raft with his grandma, but once he realized we weren't there, he was very unhappy.  He spent the rest of the time in his daddy's arms.  He's become another Daddy's boy, except at bedtime and mealtime.  Brennan did adjust and enjoyed playing in the water.  However, despite the amount of time we were there, I only took two pictures when we were getting close to leaving.

We went to my cousin's house to watch the fireworks.  Jaden just wanted to go back inside to play with the toys there.  He wasn't much interested in watching.  Brennan seemed to enjoy the fireworks, but also seemed to really just like to play in the chair he got to sit in.  My cousin has a daughter a little older than Brennan, and he was interested watching her as well.

The kids were going crazy, having so much fun, but it was so late for them.  Jaden had a complete meltdown when we started to get ready to leave.  He was inconsolable, but he fell asleep on the way home.
