Halloween!

We had a pirate theme this year.  Micah and Jaden were both pirates, I was a wench and Brennan was the pet monkey.  I bought the boys' costumes, but I'm proud to say that I made Micah's and mine.  The most sewing I've done in apparel before this is 2 pairs of baby pants.  So I feel pretty darn good about myself.

I had told Jaden, in an effort to get him to leave his hat on, that if he put his costume and hat on then we could get candy. He was very upset that I wouldn't let him have any from out of the bowl in the kitchen.  I had meant trunk or treating, but he wouldn't stop crying for a picture.
